Vale MP Praises Organisers of Barry Fun Day

Vale MP Alun Cairns officially opened the Victoria Park Family Fun Day recently, joining many local groups and over 1,000 visitors for the 7th annual event held in Barry.

Barry Residents Group United Against Incinerator Plans

Vale MP Alun Cairns joined residents from across Barry in opposition to plans being heard by the local authority today on July 2nd for the development of a large wood burning incinerator plant on David Davies Road in Barry.  

New Question Mark Over Dinas Powys By-Pass

Vale MP Alun Cairns has expressed his concern over the possible implications for a future by-pass around Dinas Powys after it was revealed by a council official that land allocated for the road is part of a 300 house development between Murch and Sully Road.

Charities Benefit From Llancarfan Tea Event

A number of Vale based charities benefitted from a fundraising event at Llancarfan village hall recently. Wales Air Ambulance, mental health charity Mind and Latch all received cheques and met with the local Llancarfan fundraisers for afternoon tea.
