Christmas Tree Collection Update

From Monday 16th-28th January, the Vale Council will be collecting Christmas trees from designated collection points.

Only real trees can be collected for recycling, decorations and soil must be removed, and trees must be cut down if longer than 6ft.

If you would like to recycle your Christmas tree, a number of collection points will be open across the Vale:

Monday 16th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Bryn-y-don Car Park, Dinas Powys
  • King George V Playing Fields Car Park, Llandough

Tuesday 17th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Train Station Car Park, Llantwit Major
  • Car Park at the rear of Price Down Stores, Skomer Road, Barry

Wednesday 18th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Cemetery Approach, Barry
  • Nell's Point Car Park, Barry Island

Thursday 19th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Community Centre Car Park, Celtic Way, Rhoose
  • Cliff Tops Car Park, Penarth

Friday 20th January (Before 8am)

  • Peterson-Super-Ely Community Hall, Peterson-Super-Ely
  • Pendoylan Village Green, Pendoylan
  • Welsh St Donats Community Centre, Welsh St Donats
  • Aberthin Village Hall, Aberthin
  • Ystradowen Village Hall, Ystradowen
  • Llandow Village Hall

Friday 20th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Cowbridge Town Hall Car Park

Saturday 21st January (8am - 2pm)

Monday 23rd January (8am - 2pm)

Tuesday 24th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Cemetery Approach, Barry

Wednesday 25th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Aubrey Arms, Bonvilston

Thursday 26th January (8am - 2pm)

  • Train Station Car Park, Rhoose
  • Cosmeston Lakes car park, Cosmeston

Friday 27th January (8am - 2pm)

  • The Knap Car Park, Barry

Saturday 28th January (Before 8am)
