Tackling Crime

We’ve hired 20,000 extra police officers across the UK. Now tell me what action on crime you want to tackling in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Police officers have a tough job – and pressures on them are growing as the nature of crime changes.

We’re not waiting around. We’ve hired 20,000 extra police officers. Helping to keep our coastal communities safe.

Tackling crime in the Vale is a top priority for me. And I am proud to have worked closely with South Wales Police on ‘Operation Elstree’ – a specific programme to support coastal communities.  This has lead to a 55% reduction in reported anti-social behaviour.

But there’s still more to do. That’s why I’m asking you to fill in this short survey. If we work together, we can reduce crime here in the Vale of Glamorgan. So why not tell me what action on crime you’d like to see?

Take my short survey and let me know.
