I became a 'trained' Dementia Champion some years ago and in conjunction with The Alzheimer’s Society, I will be hosting a Dementia Friendly Information session in Llantwit Major on Thurs 13th October from 11am – Midday at the Llantonian Hall.

This is designed to support those in the Vale living with dementia and their families. The workshop will focus on developing greater awareness and understanding of dementia so you can best support and take action on behalf of people affected by dementia in the community.

It will be interactive with the opportunity to ask questions. The workshop is free but spaces are limited, so please pre-book your place by emailing alun.cairns.mp@parliament.uk

Feedback from previous attendees has been excellent. If you would like to know more, please get in touch.
