Announcement to create up to 500 jobs is a ‘clear demonstration’ of confidence in UK economy

The UK Government has welcomed news that INEOS Automotive will assemble up to 25,000 of its new Projekt Grenadier SUV vehicles per year at the Brocastle site in Bridgend.

Vale MP Alun Cairns has announced the winner of his annual Instagram competition is 12-year-old Haneen, who is part of Shutter Hire Kids Photography Club in Dinas Powys. The winning picture captured flowers overlooking Whitmore Bay on Barry Island.

With Vale schools facing a funding crisis from the Welsh Government, the UK Government has announced a £14bn investment in education which will see Wales receive £1.24bn in additional funding.
