I have recently unearthed figures which show the Vale of Glamorgan Council have increased Council Tax by almost double the rate compared to the average in England over the last decade.

Staff a focal point in Co-Op closure

The Gem recently reported that after five years of operating in Cowbridge, Co-Op has taken the decision to close their branch on the High Street.

Llangan community pull together to secure broadband network upgrade

After two years of discussions with Openreach and work with local community groups, the final stage of Fibre To The Premises Community Fund Partnership in Llangan have recently been complete.  Local MP, Alun Cairns paid tribute to the way the community had facilitated the plan.
