Upgrades at 3 Vale parks have now been completed - Romilly Park / Millwood Park / Wenvoe Park

The previously run-down tennis courts now have:

- New surfaces and nets

- New fencing and booking system

It was great to see hundreds of residents come together in this way. However, we shouldn’t have to!

We are so lucky to have such beautiful natural landscapes in the Vale… so we need to do all we can to protect them!

The amount of waste was shocking and disgraceful.

Delighted that as of this afternoon, the essential Post Office re-opened again in St Brides Major!

I popped by to see Amrit and the team who have done a fantastic job. A real community boost!

From July, the Vale's Labour Council has no longer collected black bags every two weeks. Instead collecting every three weeks!

On top of this, the Vale Council also no longer collects garden waste from homes for free. Instead making residents subscribe to a new chargeable service!

I spoke to Tracey, Sam and Lucy who told me that Wilko has now been in Barry for over 17 years!

The suspension of services in Barry will see individuals and families being faced with:

Longer journey times

Additional pressures on A&E waiting times

Residents in Barry and the Vale deserve the same access to treatment as residents in Cardiff!
