The explosions and fires killed 48 men aboard the Sir Galahad, with 32 being soldiers from the Welsh Guards.

Barry Scout & Guide Fete Break Unofficial World Record for the Largest Human Image of a Fleur-de-Lis Monday, 3 July, 2023 The current record stands at 445 people from CarFest North in 2018. Over 900 people were involved at the weekend in Barry! We are now all eagerly awaiting the results of the verification process by Guinness World Records! It was fantastic to be a part of the attempt!
