𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮 & 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 “𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵”. Teresa is Barry’s Royal British Legion Vice-Chair, and with the help of her husband and veteran Roy, organised this year’s Poppy Appeal across the Vale.

WATCH: The Chancellor referred to me as a “defender of the Great British pint” during his Statement. As Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group it is my job to support the beer and pub industry.

I’m proud to announce that after two years of campaigning that a £20 million investment for a Barry Marina has been confirmed.

The Barry Marina will bring new investment, jobs, restaurants and bars to the area.

Today, 105 years ago, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

A privilege and honour to lay a wreath at the Merchant Navy Memorial in Barry earlier today.

I lay my wreath in memory of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

We will never forget.
